Fruit & Vegetable Grant
Orofino Elementary School, Peck Elementary and Timberline Elementary School are recipients of the 2023-24 Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program grant from the United States Department of Agriculture. This grant provides a variety of fresh fruit or vegetables each day to all K-6 students. The goal of the program is to increase student consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables, to expand the variety of fruits and vegetables that students experience, to positively impact their present and future health, and to create a healthier school environment by providing healthier choices for students.
